Overload capacity
   • 1.6 x FLT for 15 seconds every 5 minutes
   • 2.0 x FLC for 30 seconds every 30 minutes
   • 2.0 x FLC - 1.9 x FLT at rated flux
   • Overloads must be followed by periods of reduced loading in order to maintain an r.m.s. load cycle of 1.0 x FLC
   • Other duty cycles available on request

Dynamic loading
   • Suitable for di/dt of 200 x FLC/sec
   • 2.0 x FLC for 30 seconds every 30 minutes
   • Higher levels considered on request

Standstill
The permissable currents during standstill operation with the cooling air applied are:
   • 2.0 x FLC for 10 seconds
   • 1.0 x FLC for 30 seconds

   • 0.5 x FLC for 90 seconds
   • 0.2 x FLC for 300 seconds
   • 0.15 x FLC for 600 seconds

Terminal box position
   • Right hand side viewed from d-end
   • Left hand side or top mounting available on request

Blower position
   • Top mounted at d-end
   • Other positions available on request

Filter
   • Filter available on request

Bearings
   • Grease lubricated ball bearings suitable for direct drive
   • For belt drive or side loading, please contact our sales offices

Heat exchangers - Air/water (IC 86W):
   • Air/water exchangers are especially recommended for polluted environment
   • Standard is for clean water
   • For corrosive water on request

   Mounting:
   • Position on top of motor as standard
   • Other positions and for remote loading, please contact our sales offices

   Water inlet/outlet:
   • DIN2566 - PN16
   • Other connection forms available on request
   • Water connections are on the opposite side to the terminal box
   • For other positions, please contact our sales offices

   Water parameters:
   • Inlet temperature maximum 25°C
   • Inlet pressure maximum 3,45 bars
   • Pressure drop maximum 35 kPa
   • A temperature rise of 8 to 10°C must be expected

Heat exchangers - Air/air (IC 666):
   • Air/air exchangers are recommended where water is not available for cooling purposes
   • The output of a motor with air/air exchanger will be approximately 20% and the speed will be increased by approximately 9% compared to cooling form IC06
   • Motor output data available on request

   Mounting:
   • Position on top of motor as standard
   • Other positions available on request
   • Two constant speed ac fan motors on the heat exchanger side provide air circulation for the external and internal circuits

Protection
Standard:
   • Water flow switch (IC86W)
   • Air pressure switch (IC666)
   • Internal air circuit filter
   • Air leakage replacement filter
   • Air pressure switch internal
The internal air pressure switch indicates air flow failure only, it does not react to a reduction in air flow due to contaminated filter

Options
   • Differential pressure switch across filter monitoring contamination
   • Water flow control valve for motors used continuously in a lightly loaded condition (IC86W)

   • Detail heat exchanger information supplied upon request
   • For motors on light load or with low inlet water temperature, a temperature regulated water volume control valve is recommended to avoid condensation in the cooling air circuit, minimise water consumption and reduce the risk of too cold commutator running conditions
